Respecting human dignity and the integrity of the BSV personnel and affiliated consultants is a core interest of the BRIGHTSiGHT VERITAS. In the same time, we do not tolerate any other kind of behavior deriving from our personnel and/or affiliated members towards our clients and/or third parties. Harassment may also include inappropriate and distasteful comments about a person's age, race, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, disability or national origin and is never tolerated from the BSV.

We strongly encourage all our personnel and affiliated members to report any possible violation of the Harassment Clause to the BSV Management so our Legal Unit defends their rights under our corporate policy. Furthermore we state our unwillingness to tolerate any harassment coming from our personnel and/or our affiliated members for whatsoever reason and this may conclude to disciplinary and/or legal actions from BSV against the person responsible.

6.      Equal Employment Opportunity

We value workforce inclusion and the unique contribution that each of our consultants brings to the SSC Consultant Network. 7.      Natural Capital

The BRIGHTSiGHT VERITAS Commitment to the Natural Capital preservation and to Sustainable Development is reflected on our key business interests and the fields of our main involvement, but also in our product stewardship programs and business consulting.  Each member of the BSV Thinking Network of Experts needs to promote our commitment to environmental excellence, putting their creativity and inspiration in action for the general good and without expecting any concrete rewards beyond recognition. BRIGHTSiGHT VERITAS was conceived to connect and mobilize the global excellence of expertise towards providing solutions and generating ideas that will put in place a sustainable world, with the Natural Capital at its core conception.

As international consultancy business’s primary environmental impact is travel emissions’ generated, the BRIGHTSiGHT VERITAS seek to minimize the carbon emissions generated form BSV related projects whenever possible and to the max possible extend. We strongly encourage our members to use public transportation whenever they need to travel, having in mind “their personal carbon emissions balance sheet”.

The BRIGHTSiGHT VERITAS strongly encourages and communicates to all its recipients to have Natural Capital in mind before printing any material and promotes the “paperless office” operation[1].

8.      Health and Safety

All BSV operations are to be conducted in a manner that protects the health and safety of our people, of our clients and of all people in the communities our operations may take place.

Strict rules apply when we do business with public agencies and governmental officials. The BRIGHTSiGHT VERITAS Consultants working with state or local governments, or national governments from any country, must be aware and comply with all legal requirements, regulations, and policies governing our actions. Business conduct that is acceptable in the private sector may violate government procurement laws or regulations and/or go beyond ethical standards we accept with this Code of Ethic. There are not welcomed actions and will be tolerated from BSV. Violations can result in harsh consequences such as fines, penalties, debarment or suspension from competing for government contracts, and even criminal prosecution of the consultant; therefore, we leave no space for suspicion and we encourage our members to be the most transparent possible in their business with all governments .

BSV affiliated members that are or have been governmental officials should reflect twice on their possible conflict of interest prior to undertake any BSV assignment.

12.Membership on Boards and Committees

Consultants are encouraged to participate in professional organizations, social and physical networks, political parties and community activities. However, when one of the BSV personnel accepts an invitation to serve as a board member of an outside company, advisory board, committee or agency, he/she must consult with the BSV Management if there could be any question of conflict of interest.

Formal BSV Management consent is not required for membership on the boards of charitable or community organizations, as long as the activities of the BSV personnel do not conflict with their job responsibilities or reflect negatively on the BSV Corporate Image.

13.Political Activities

We encourage our consultants to participate in the local, national and international political process. As a citizen you may make contributions to the candidates or political parties of your choice. The BSV as a corporate structure does not make any contribution to political parties, candidates or public officials.

14.Transparency, Investigations, Inspections and Inquiries

We are committed to providing full, fair, accurate, timely and credible information consistent with legal and regulatory requirements. All BSV Network-related consultants, including any agents or other third parties working on their behalf, are not authorized and must never release information concerning the BSV Network or our business activities or respond to inquiries from the media or other parties, unless specifically asked to do so by an authorized spokesperson and/or written consent of appropriate level of BSV Management is given.

Should a BSV personnel and/or affiliated member be asked to respond to requests by internal auditors, legal staff, independent accountants and/or special counsels, all responses must always be complete and truthful. We urge all BSV related personnel to include all relevant information in the case of such an event, even if the request does not specifically ask that they do so.

A paperless office is defined as printing less than 500 pages per year. It can be accomplished through substituting printed materials with electronic ones, ie, substituting letters with emails, packages with file sharing, e-banking and e-payments substituting physical payments, etc.
